4EM-MCP
4EM-MCP was a project to promote energy efficient electric drive systems in the new EU member countries and in the candidate countries. One of the program priorities was to promote energy efficient electric drive systems. The Motor Challenge Program was aimed on supporting industrial enterprises that tend to improve efficiency of power consumption to drive fans, compressors and pumps and in cooling/refrigerating systems and mechanical drives.
FEWE was a country focal point of the European Motor Challenge program (MCP) offering support to companies that submitted applications for partnership in the MCP and participated in MCP competitions by implementing energy efficient drives..
The project lasted 3 years (2006-2008), was financed from Intelligent Energy Europe.
